Three of Jean's dogs are rescues, and each has presented totally different training challenges.  Jean teaches and trains her dogs using the positive motivation technique, utilizing food and toys as rewards.  Jean has competed on several dog agility masters teams.  She qualified for team finals in 1999 and 2000 with her Jack Russell terrier Bandit.  She also qualified twice in 2002 & 2003, and again in 2004 and 2006 with her dog Zen.  Jean also placed 6th in Round 2 of the Grand Prix Northeast Regionals in 2002, and again in 2003 for a bye into the semi-final round at the National event in Texas.  Zen also made the list for IFCS World Agility Championship Standings in 2003.  Jean's youngest dog is Tee, a border collie, who began competing before the age of 2 and has been incredibly successful at her very young age. Jean teaches Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Agility classes at the Locust Valley Farm location. < Bandit APD MAD JM  13 year old Jack Russell Terrier Performance top 10 Gamblers in 2004 Team Qualifier 1999-2000 Casey MAD JM > Shetland Sheepdog (1995-2006) < Zen LAA Bronze JM GOLD SM GOLD STDM GOLD GMC SILVER RC SILVER TM SILVER 8 year old Border Collie Two-time Team Qualifier 2002 and 2003 Cheryl Weeks has been training agility since 1999 in AKC, NADAC and ASCA.  She has trained 4 agility dogs and with limited competition her Australian Shepherd, Wills, (see pictures left and below) attained his AKC Masters Agility Excellent and Masters Agility Excellent Jumpers titles as well as multiple titles in ASCA and NADAC venues.  Wills won every class he entered at the 2007 ASCA National Agility Trial, at the age of 11.   Wills (Weeks' Billy The Kid) is the inspiration for Outlaw Agility, his likeness incorporated into its logo. Cheryl has trained with some of the top agility trainers/competitors in the U.S., including Elicia Calhoun, Ali Roukas-Canova,  Paulena Rene Hope, Rosie Sutherland and Sue Tovino.  Cheryl understands that not all people are motivated to compete, thus her Introduction to Agility class is directed at introducing people and their dogs to the fun and team building that agility fosters.  She utilizes clicker training and positive motivation techniques using food and toys as rewards.  After the completion of Introduction to Agility, teams progress to more structured Beginner Agility classes with Jean Crouthamel.
